60 miles from your mums bed????
see the abovbe post lol
quick search puts border engines at berwick at 53ml.... so if I were you, i'd get the woodworking kit out & make a crank carrying box... or invest in a decent vernier/micrometer & get measuring
i do have several digital verniers
just gave them a call £50 to check the journals alignment and give it a polish
£100 to get it reground if needed
and what about collection/delivery?
nope they dont so id have to courier it or take it over
so about a tenner either way on a courier, or £20 in your motor
just phoned bill faulkner who is near me too and he says as long as theres no major scores on it just to measure it with my verniers and see what it says
just went and measured the journals and got the readings of
57.98 and 48.97 these readins were obviously +/- 0.05 as they were all the same
haynes says mains should be standard 57.982 - 57.995
big ends should be 48.970 -48.988
