New 256mm calipers?

I have been looking at expensive 4pot front brakes to go on my slow rebuild. But since they are quite expensive, I was wondering if you can still get brand new Astra 2.0 256mm calipers anywhere?

You can get recon ones quite easily

New genuine ones, you'll need luck, took me a year to complete a pair

I bought genuine ones because they were cheap but good recon units can be had from most decent motor factors. Most Vauxhall units will be recon now anyway if they were available.
Big Red I think they are called are on Ebay and they do recon units, they can even paint them red for you

Why don't you recon them yourself. Not that hard. I managed to do it on my first attempt. You can buy recon bits for fairly cheap. Pistons are £50 a pop but seals and stuff and cheap.
