Is it that easy was thinking ov fitting a gt28
over 300bhp you will need steel rods, standards go weak around that power

4wd it then.
Why do you need 300 bhp?
Phase 2 with a decent FMIC will be MORE than enough in a Nova - in fact, unless you invest heavily in braking and suspension, I would start off standard and go from there.

My xe was running 196bhp but my let in the same car even on standard boost makes you realise how slow it was it's all about the torque, mine is phase 3 and as spud will tell you having been in mine and joffs it's more than enough in a road going biscuit tin

mcgee,m please stop the txt crp spk. i'm getting a headache & google translate doesn't recognise it.
first off, try & find a good one. then rebuild it. then think about uprating it. then there is the need for a very strong gearbox, so basically you need 5 grand minimum.
