hello all,
im loosing storeage shortly, so ive got clear as many of my projects as possible.
next to go is this:
1966 Vauxhall Viva HA SL, last on the road in 2010, got old mots and logbook and keys here for it. currently on a sorn, and no mot. also its tax exempt, so free.
cant remember the mileage off the top of my head, think it was just over 100k
its in primer, and has been welded, especially to the floors. im told it needs welding, but i can't see where, but i havent had a chance to have a proper look over it, seems solid under the engine bay etc. the boot has been sealed shut i think, as i can't open it.
it needs resto work obviously, but i can't say what it needs, although it doesnt look too bad. i would imagine its had repair/filler work done in places.
as far as i can see, the only parts missing is the carpet, rear seats, backbox (has fell off but in the car so could be re-welded) and front bumper (im including a HB front bumper, which is slightly larger, but could be used)
parts to come with it:
crankshaft
re-cond cylinder heads
various gaskets
several carbs, pistons
set of brand new pistons
some brand new wheels
front grill
radiator
mirror, switches, box of odds n sods
and some other parts.
now, i havent had it running since ive owned it, but ive known the previous owner for a long time, and it is a good run, all you need is a gallon of petrol and jump leads and it'l fire up and run.
