Has anybody ever fitted mk1 wiring loom with a mk2 dash?

Has anybody ever fitted a mk1 wiring loom with a mk2 dash, I guess I will have to change plugs over just wondered if anybody has done it before?

done it to mine as well, not acxtually that hard it sounds harder than it is
