Bought this off a freind of a freind tonight, it's not in bad nick for the price I payed for it.

It's a 2.0 gte 8v 20seh engine.

It still has mot and the car is clean, just tatty on the edges.

I'm debating between tidying it up and selling it, or ripping its engine out, shoving it in the nova, and breaking the rest, depending on the interest I get.

Paint it yellow and put the Mo's on and sell the nova lol

I dread to think how much your insurance would be on a 2.0 would be though :(

Well i think the plan is to clean it up a bit and put it on flebay. Theres one on there right now for £610 with 4 days left, which may i add has rotten arches. mine has rust on one wing and the top of one door.

My comps and ceaseros will also be for sale soon.

Couple of pics of the engine bay, just for good measure.

Tidy it up and use it. If it's a strong one then they can be worth a fair bit. Hardly see any MK2 Astra about. You'd prob get a fair bit of attention on the road too. Keep it. You could easily get classic insurance and an agreed value depending on how well you tidy it up.

Then if you got space to store it maybe have it as a project, tidy it up, get things sorted and eventually if you get it mint it'll be worth a nice amount. That's what I'd do if I had the spare space (perfect world scenario).

Don't break it though would be such a shame.
