help needed asap..

i was driving home from work today and the nova decided to die on me.. its a 1.2 8v ..

ive checked for spark thats fine so checked fuel filter and it doesnt seem to be pulling any thru.

is this the little diaphram thing on the block that is broken?

if so can i bypass that and put an inline electric constant pump?
