Just bought some new drag slicks for my nova track car and now looking for a pair of 13x10j wellers. So has anyone got a pic of a 3door hatch with 10j wheels / slicks on I can have a look at please before I go out spending:d

god knows what they'd look like, colin's hill climber hasn't got them that wide, but look at his project thread for ideas. even the banded steelie euro boys don't have them that wide.

have a look on here too

They are to take big drag slicks so turning ect isn't realy an isssue. Just having problems with traction so need wider wheels to take these new tyres. Iv seen 10j wheels on bog bros hill climb nova but that's got wide arches on so not realy the look I'm after

just how much power are you trying to get down?

imagine the extra strain on the CV's/shafts etc with 10J sticky tyres...can't see it lasting long..

Doesn't realy matter how long they last aslong as it gets the times down.
Mowgli its not the power that's a problem mate its just the fact the car has been on a diet lol and they gear ratio . Don't wona get to technical in this post as I know how people like to argue on here now and again about pointless stuff. Just after some pics that's all lads.

i'm not sure the width will be the issue, more the back spacing!

David.

Aye ano david that's what I need to see I mean by the looks of it the wellers are all on the front mate but might just have to buy a pair and see how they fit .

0 back spacing is where its at, i can have you some made if you get stuck but i'm sure you'll understand the price of zero back spacing one-off drag wheels :tard:

10J?? Are you serious?? There are plenty of other options to get better grip and getting rediculously wide wheels is not one of them! lol

As already mentioned - if you are looking for THAT much grip, you need some really good CV/shaft set ups to take the extra turning force...

lol I can you some 300m driveshafts and cv's too.

Wider = more latteral grip.... you want longitudinal grip which means fitting smaller diameter rims/tyres
