If you get a genuine one of these it will be through the mailbox of your front door, ask yourself how they would even know your email address?. I get a tax refund every year, you'd think they would get it right by now, but I'm happy to have it :)

HMRC always send letters and never send email. Deffo a scam no questions. If you use IE - hover on the links in the email and you'll see the web address for that link is some random site (don't click it obviously).

Anyone else finding the scam emails are getting ridiculous of late? I get the tax ones from UK and USA. UPS ones about packages. DHL fecking Itunes has taken a payment of £4k+ follow this link etc etc etc.

It's getting to the point of it's only a matter of time before my dizzy bint wife panics and clicks the link on one of these fecking things. I only just stopped her on the Itunes one.

i can assure you thats not real, we dont use that kinda domain name! lol i can see why people would think it was ligit, do hmrc revenues a favor and ring them to let em know! weve been getting people ringing us up at the council too! so we need to know :) x
