I applied for a job in MK tonite (not sure who the company is becasue its through an agency).

I want to know what fairly big companies are in/around MK that do decent scale engine/powertrain/emissions testing and or research etc.


i know nissan have a tech center there, could be fun.

any other ideas who it could be?

Daimler Chrysler? They have a big commercial centre thing there .. I have a friend who works as a vehicle inspector or something like that lol

Best place local(ish) to here is Milbrook proving ground. My friend is a engine test bed operator there.

Other than that I cant think of anywhere around here other than F1 teams. (Jaguar Racing/B.A.R)

Aston Martin are based in Newport Pagnel which carries the Milton Keynes postcode.

ive already burnt my bridges with an unsucsessful application to milbrook via an agency , which i then bypassed cos they seemed to be not telling me anything lol

said i wasnt qualified enough to run the dyno testers WTF??!! i taught my uni how to use theirs lol

oh well, heavent heard anything about it yet :s :((
