i have sunk box into the were the leg already was to mount the sud frame this will give me some movment so if its not inline i can do so also it makes good pushing points.

the saab subframe sits nice under the car
its the same level as the floor so will make a nic flat bottom

had to use ford waste spark coil and leads makes it easyer to config to the emerald ecs

Whats it going to be used for?? I am assuming it will never see the road? Some of that fab work would struggle to get passed the kindest of testers! lol

What are you doing about the rear geometry? Its going to crab like a MF'er as it is!

took it out for first test last week was hopping to get the ecu set up on the rollers this week but been cancalled very unhappy!

rebooked for the rolling road monday coming
i will try film it so you can all have a giggal lol
hopfuly will be setting up all 3 maps on the ecu with out finshing the motor, not shore what sort of power its going to kick out??? if its up over the 210BHP mark
ill be very happy as its still runnig stock turbo

still not running right, having trubles entering valuse into the ecu, slitly stuck open dump valve, and pipes blowing off every other run
it was not to good a day 147 BHP
so i have sorted all the little problems just cant get round my ecu truble its looking like i mite have to send it back to emralde so they can check it out
im going to keep hold of it till after sata pod PVS just to get a fill

ajusted the boost and fueling today now all the pipes are sorted and took it down the road (off the road of cause)and back with some good tyers on the front,
i think im a bit scerd of it after nerly stacking it 2s in about 300 yards, its going to be lots of fun when its set up right.
looking forword to PVS now as it gose alot better than i fort, its still very tail happy even at 147BHP

well its cheep but it is a T70 with a 4" inlet 2 1/2" outlet with 80mm exhaut. it says it should kick out 600BHP at 35PSI???? maybe not on my saab lump but it will be some fun
as it has no waste gate this was also needed

soon as my face plate for the head and turbo come back i can make the manifold not to long also trying to get these wide archs sorted there just not wide anuth!!!

its not all about the power
i have just reaseaved a mazda MX5 front subframe that i will be fitting to my RWD nova as it has the right gio for a rear wheel drive, top and bottom wish bone set up. im hopping that this will sort my handling problams for good and make it in to the track car i wanted from this project

yes i used a mig with stainless mig wire so no mate it wont crack, if i had used mild mig wire then you would be right

It's back on the floor rolling again, all tacked together going to need a mx5 steering coloum now to suit the rackHad to extend mx5 shocks to gain anoth clearance for the wheels
Got to say top and bottom wish bone on a nova looks cool!

how have you fixed the extension piece to the bottom of the damper?? it looks like it would bend really quickly when in use.. why not use the top mount from the mx5 & cut the nova turret out completely?

Have you seen the size of the box I have used? That is not bending! I have not used mx5 top mounts as then there is no original point to line up from, the extensions will do the same thing and with half the work

Yes will weld them to lower arm when I'm happy it works

i don't doubt the strength of the box section, but i do wonder about the rigidity of the joint. i hope it works ok.

ok, it won't work

unless you weld the box to the strut & fit a bushed joint to the bottom arm, i'd put money on it failing
