Hi there y'all.

I built the below Nova in 2005-2006. It was a 1.2 base shell that I picked up and made a bit of a hybrid out of using the engine and MK1 front from my rusty old F reg GTE.

This K reg shell had no rust but had some dents, so I effectively re-shelled the GTE into the base shell and converted the front to MK1 and paid a good body shop to knock the dents out and re-spray it.

Does anyone know where it is now???

Is it in the Club???

I was one of the original PNG members back in the day and was inspired by Jon Walsh of Max Power fame's red Nova.

As with all builds, there's part of you that wishes you'd not sold it on, but the fun was in the build for me. I sold it about a year after I built it. Would love to see it again, sold it locally PX'ing it at a dealer but not seen it since.

Cheers

Don't know the car personally, but it's showing as both taxed and insured, so it's still alive bud:thumb:

Cheers, I had seen on the DVLA website it was still taxed and the only thing that I can think of that could have killed it would be a crash!

It was completely rust free in 2006, but I suppose that's getting longer and longer ago now - looking through my Carmine red tinted specs I suppose!

The wheels are Compomotive TH2's - I wanted them in silver but George Polley Motorsport only had them in white and I was getting impatient so just took what he had in stock - later became glad I did as silver wouldn't have looked as good in my opinion.

Maybe someone will recognise it soon, otherwise that'll be that!

Just a bump really to see if it's surfaced since I first posted. Anyone know where it is now?

I think of this car often and have a piccie inside my locker door at work. It is definitely the one that got away and I regret selling it dearly. I wouldn't be able to buy it back now and I dare say it wouldn't be in the same condition but it would be nice to see it again to see how it's been looked after etc...

I sold it on the original GTE 3 spokes if that makes a difference to anyone.

Anyone know?

One more bump to see if the current owner is on here now!

I still think about this car regularly - it was a mistake to sell.
