I'm confused I see the old equal length shaft that bolts to the block or gearbox(which I never new you could use) saves me a little bit more cash but whats the other shaft that you've used???? I'm intreaged I may use this setup

Yes, o/s the n/s is a normal conversion shaft. There was a group buy a few year ago on here and I got a set.

theres a bloke on g-bay selling the equal length shaft, and the n/s shaft for £140 plus postage. but i dont think he sells the equal length seperate i asked him ages ago

unless you want to go down the vw bearing way and machine the hub carrier so that the inner hubs dont need as much taking off them...
