hi i want to lower my car, i know that lowering by 60mm will mean that i can only fit 13s on it with no arch mods and there isnt much choice in the 13 ranges, if i fit Gmax Suspension Kit 35F/40R will i be able to fit 14s on with no arch mods? (its a 1.0L Nova Life)
Cheers Matt

ave got mine lowered 80 all round with 15" alloys with 195/45 tyres and mine dont rub at all. No arch mods needed on the rear but just had to knock the front lip up on the wing abit.

Its a mk2 nova and i have been told there is a slight difference in the arch area compared to a mk1.

Mine used to be lowered 35f 40r with 15s and 195/50 tyres and they didnt rub either.

Hope this helps.

mine is lowered 90/60 on 195/45-15. No problems at all.

u only need arch mods apparently if u lower 60mm and put on 195-45-16 or above, although i think some pople even get away with this if they are et49?

i had mine lowerd 80 at the back and 70 at the front with 16`s on before i fitted my valver, and 17`s would have fitted but it was really uncomfortable.

lowering and alloys vary too much between car to car to say, "yes this will fit, no that wont" - you will just have to try im afraid.

the nova has CR@P manufacturing tolerances (by todays standards) - but then again it was done over 10 year ago

(you will have more chance if you car is a mk2 as the arches are usually wider)
