I like bass but too much spoils music. My bro's Cav has a 12" American spec Sony sub and amp. Works nicely, good bass and very affordable. Silly bass is poo imo.

I love a bit of bass. just sold 2 alpine type r's that i've had in a few old cars. Got a 15 inch kicker square jobbie at home plus a kicker amp that's almost as big as me. Plan is to get another 15 and bung it all in my next daily.

I've still got this at home somewhere lol

If I remember rightly it's the one that counted down the hertz noises, "50 heeeerrrrrtttttzzz" then your ears hurt like buggery and made you feel a tad sick lol

EDIT: not the cd I was thinking of

Ive got that max bass somewhere i think, cant beat a decent setup, ive got a bluetooth sony HU in the astra with the hpf and lpf set up accordingly, and a pair of 12" vibe fli's in the boot running off a seperate vibe amp, its ace, although i dont think ill bother with a massive stereo in the nova, im actually contemplating keeping the tape player from the cav and fitting that (even though kissy dave wants it lol)

Dave.
26-03-12, 09:51 PM
Its not the right tape player for a mk1 John lol

Some of the setups my mates have in their chav mobiles are stupidley loud, ill find out next time they stop off for some white cider and fags :thumb:

you need some power caps for your power feed by the sounds of it,

im running 3 x 12" JL Audio 12w0v3 subs each from its own Vibe a7 slick amp with a 2 farad cap to help smooth power demand on bass kick and have no problems with power for my Kenwood HU and the Kenwood Keg *touch wood*

what gauge wire you got supplying the amp because having a too small of a gauge wire wont help with the power transfer to the amp?

re:chav mobile, I like to think of myself as a valued member of society and not to play any crap, besides no one turns around when you hear someone blaring out drum n bass anymore, what you need is some backyard dog - baddest ruffest, its all about blaring out stuff everyones forgotten about, not to mention black box - ride on time or if you have the very low self on your subs set, go for kenny loggins - danger zone or even feeder - buck rogers

the battery is designed for a 1.6 not a 2.5. was fine before i had the 2.5 in it. higher ampage battery will fix it lol.

I think I need a powercap somewhere in my system, even my hids dim out with the bass lol
