What is the best panel filter for the e16se. Are they all the same basically? Anyone got one for sale?

There made in Warrington, used to be able to get them cheap, wouldn't mind a second hand one ideally

You don't want to pay £30 for a brand new one lol

I can think of cheaper ways to hate your engine....

a proper paper filter will be better and flow better than the sponge tat.

K & N on all my cars, no Pipercross foam, don't do it, I still remember stripping a friends XR2 carb after bits of foam were pulled into it!

Really? The paper filter "looks" restrictive by its nature? Surely the air will flow more freely through the less dense Foam no?

You'd be surprised what a Paper filter will flow and you almost can't beat it for filtering performance VS flow either.

ive seen a couple articles that indicate that the aftermarket panel filter is better than a standard one.
