r1 carbs throttle pedall travel

since a motorbike has a twist throttle there isnt much movement to get it to full throttle

now that its all connected to my pedal theres only a couple inches of movement from closed to full throttle

i cant see this being that good on the road when pulling away etc or isnt is that bad?

i was thinking maybe drill a hole further down the pedal to give it more movement

anyone doen this?
