heated rear window

ok so mine isnt working anymore, it did used to work but not now

how do i test this to see if whats faulty?

which fuse is it? does it have a relay? what if its the actual glass how do i tell?

i think the relay is in the rear need the n/s rear light i would use a multi meter and check the voltage first fella

so i should get voltage and the terminal on the window?

You should get voltage going to it & also you should check for resistance across it

ok so no voltage going to the rear window, am i right in thinking the relay on the far right on the fusebox (mk1) is for the heated rear window? if so its not clicking or anything when i put the heated screen on

dodgy relay?

swedge, its the next fuse over from the rad switch one.... are you sure the fuse box is ok?

yeah everything was working perfect, its only been sat a while while i fitted the new engine

ive not touched any wiring at all like i said everything was working fine

i have a funny feeling the screen might actually be goosed as it was a second hand replacement and i dont think itsa worked since it was fitted
