has any1 or no any1 who has put a c20xe with dry sump in to a corsa b cause i hear u might have to cut some of the chassis away where the pump wheel is ,is this right,

I would imagine so, even with competition mounts.

yes you have to cut out a recess on the drivers chassis leg near to the front cross member your best off getting it in ther and seeing exactly were you need to cut

have u done it ,i have comp mounts and i had power steering unit there b4 which is a bigger wheel but not thicker

yes done a couple the pas is nowwere near the chassis leg in comparison to the dry sump set up its probly an extra inch

ok thanks did u cut and have to weld or jus cut

cut out what you need to and then plate it back in with minimum 1.7mm steel (3mm is thickest ive used)

you wouldent have a picture of any done is there any chance of cutting it with out getting engine in the bay [guessing]:confused:

Whatever you do make sure you box the area back in correctly as its a major structural area of the car.

I'll assume as the Corsa bay it that much wider you don't need to cut into the chassis leg.

Nova's doing clear not the pace kit anyway. The pulley wheel for the oil pump sits bang in the middle of the chassis leg I did some pics of what I had to do on mine, there in the project thread somewhere.

yes this what i was describing with nova chassis leg

but just read the title and realised this is in a corsa :( and ive never done one in a corsa so can not comment
