i have a x16xel in my nova and in the last year 2 fuel pumps have burnt out, keep sticking. is there any good aftermarket fuel pumo i can use? and will i need to get an adjustable fuel regulator aswell?

also have another question if anyone knows. i am using the standard x16xel ecu but i have a gsi corsa x16xe with a superchip ecu, rev limit is about 8100rpm! if i was to buy another x16xe loom chip+transponder and use the superchip will it connect to the engine ok?

Where is the pump fitted? Not in the engine bay or anything?

Have you got the standard engine/inlet etc?
If so an ecu with even a 10'000rpm rev limit will not give you much of a benefit, power has peaked and is falling by about 6600rpm.

the pump is in the tank and it is out of a 16v astra. i might not bother with the ecu then it will probaly end up blowing the engine with that sort of rpm.
