alternator wiring

im trying to wire up an alternator on my race car, where do the wires go from the alternator, all i can see is one terminal has D+ on and the other 2 i cannot see anything stamped on them. there is one about 15mm away from the D+ terminal and one near to the black box on the back of the alternator

the two terminals next to each other, they should be different sizes, the bigger of the two goes direct to your battery and the smaller is from the charge light on the clocks
