engine light turns on..... then off :/

pretty much in the title. im driving along and the engine light comes on for around 30 secs then turns off :/

What engine?

Hopefully 30 secs is enough for it to be stored in the ECU so you can flash the codes

if an e16se then its apparently the hall effect sensor

what we need to know is: does it happen at a certain revs or not
