My bird passed her driving test Monday so we have been car hunting as you do lol, and after seeing some shocking cars including many ford ka's (yuck), she had been looking at corsas but didn't like any but the sports or sxi's, after looking at insurance on a sport we soon realised she wouldn't be able to afford the month payments on it qnd we couldn't find a half decent sxi in her price range :( , so after a whill and me being the top guy I am lol I decided to give her the difference every month on the insurance between a 1.2 and the sport :)

And we finally got one today a 1.6 16v sport, 120k, 6 months tax (haggled in to the price of the car) and 2 months mot, I personally consider the car a Bargin at 450 quid

I will get some pictures up when they are loaded on photobucket

NO FORD TAT IN MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!(not including cosworths, rs turbos and all xr cars lol)

Looks a good buy. Insurance must be mad on that as a first car!

With me her mum and dad named on the insurance its a 517 quid deposit and 10 monthly payments of around 170, and with her working as a nursery nurse it very very expensive as her income is **** to be honest, but we live together and have been together for over 3 years so to be honest I don't give to flying funk over helping her out with 50 or 60 quid a month

Doesn't sound too much for just passing your test, and car doesn't look that bad for the price neither

Win (ish) all round lol
