Gauge fuse wiring

Im wiring in a new gauge which says it should have an inline 10 amp fuse. It will be replacing my clock in terms of location. If i use the power cable that used to feed the clock to power the gauge will the existing fuse for the clock suffice?

Yeah It will be fine, the Clock shares the same 20A fuse as the radio

Just bad a thought, would the gauge be on all the time since the clock must have constant power to keep working?

I think it would, I'd look to use a switched 12v feed for it.
