whats the best timing setting for theses engines i have mine advanced 10 degrease at the moment and its not running very well also is running way to rich any tips?

for leaded it is 10deg btdc. for unleaded it needs to be backed off about 3deg.

to set it , you must unplug the throttle switch, and use some split pins or wire to interconnect all 3 terminals, then run the engine, the factory marks are 10 deg, so then you must back it off a touch.

as for rich, thats usually the cts, icv or the intake pipe is split
