What is it's purpose? Is it essential? I have managed to locate a full C16XE conversion and injection tank but want to fit a new filter and pump located on the rear chassis leg. Is there an aftermarket pressure regulator available that's suitable? What is the pressure regulator set at?

Rep and general thanks for any advice/help.:thumb:

Had one on my LET since building it, I had a problem with fuel pressure and ripped it off. The pressure problem was a tear on the hose but I've left it off and the car runs like a dream. Loads of people run without them.

The pressure regulator is on the fuel rail, the thing you are talking about is a fuel damper, it smoothes out the pulses it he pumping. Not really needed, lots do use it

Fuel dyaphram damper valve, as burgo says, lt may not be needed but I'd fit one
