BBS RM and RS

Cheers dude. The BBS RS's I've come across look a bit different to the ones in the 2nd pic especially the centres.

Normally the centre caps have a large nut with the bbs logo in the middle holding the bolt cover plate to them but those have been fitted with a flat plate retainer. It makes the center caps a bit harder to steal and gives them a sleaker look.

Oh and the RMs normally come with a one piece plastic cap but its not fitted to the first car.

Lovely mate, thanks for the info. Just a case of finding suitable offset (which I doubt) or replicas. So want polished rims.

RM's come in some Nova friendly sizes and offsets. The RS's tend to be wider, more expensive and not friendly offsets.

These RM's would need a couple of hundred throwing at them but would make a really nice set of wheels

33 is uber unfriendly bordering happy slapping. I'm looking min. 40 so I can get them machined a couple mil. My current wheels are 42 and are fine.

This is the problem with BBS rims.

Any wheel like that is going to be a problem unless you go for a front mounted cast. ET in the 60's i think.

or some of these maybe. BBS RX2. Found on Polo GTI (99-01). 6x15" 2 piece split rim and you can polish the lips up nice and shiny. et42 i think.

I was looking for it to be fully polished and I'd much rather buy them polished otherwise it'll take forever to get it done. If only there were very high offset BBS's around, and adaptor would do the trick but yet to find any.

The first rims are awesome, but crazy. 8inch spacers iirc, i have the mag with it in.

Bottom ones i looked at, you can find them in 7inch j with a et of 43 (ones i looked at) then get the et set machined at bit and you'll be on a winner. Not that easy to find tho.

I have a big feeling that the wheels topic for the Nova will be a ball ache.
