There have been about 514 leap years since Ceaser created it in 45BC. Without the extra day every 4 years today would be July 28th, 2013. Also, the Mayan calendar did not account for leap year....so technically the world should have ended 7 months ago. :thumb:;)

They didn't predict the end of the 13th Baktun to be the end of the world though, just that something would happen. Plus other mayan inscriptions relate to dates beyond the 13th baktun. There was a program about it a while ago so I did some readings lol
[edit] wiki says its the seeing of the B'olon-Yokte. And half of that particular inscription is missing anyway lol
so, in essence jack, what you are saying is that its a load of old bollox & should be treated with the contempt it deserves?
