I hope this is alright to post here as its not a nova problem. I've got a cavalier GSI and the previous owner had wired in a toggle switch in the center console to switch on the engine cooling fan if it started to get hot. The switch looked really out of place though with the rest of the interior so i bought a small on/off black push switch from maplins. It works fine but the terminals on it are really small and i dont know if its up to the job . The packaging says rated at 1.5A, 250Vac, silver plated brass terminals. I dont know much about car electrics so i dont want to burn out the switch or start a fire :(. Is the switch OK .

A fan will pull a lot more than 1.5A, requires a meatier switch. Try pole volt or vehicle wiring products.

Probably find the stat or plug for the fan has borked. Mine was knackered so we wired the high speed to ignition live as a temp fix lol
