Thinking about getting a fast road cam for my 1.6Gsi as will be fitting throttle bodies at a later point.

Just wondering what advice people would give me as to which to fit, how easy are they to fit, and will it be worth selling out for the full kit, or just the cam?

any help would be great.

cheers 8)

I got a full courtenay cam kit (made by Piper) but I didn't fancy fitting it myself - all this timing stuff was a bit above my head. But I'd say get the kit coz it's probably never been replaced b4 so better to start off with everything new - especially if you are going for throttle bodies later.
It does show you how to reomve and refit a cam in the Haynes manual
