Fitting 1.4 SRi Engine??

My Nova is a 1.2 carb, ive been offered a 1.4 SRi engine, gearbox, wiring loom and fuel pump for a good price. How hard will it be to fit? With the external fuel pump, does that mean i wont need to change the tank? It all looks pretty much straight forward to me, its just changing from carb to injection, im not sure about how to do it? Cheers

Also, are the Nova 1.4 SRi (K reg.) single or multipoint injection?

the sri engine ia a little bit of an oddball, might be easier to change the entire wiring loom.

and you WILL need the tank from a GTE/GSi/SRi im afraid

Why will i need the tank? Can i not just use my tank with the external injection pump that mounts under the back of the car?

nope your tank doesnt have a swirl pot and wont supply a constant fuel feed t othe pump
