I used it and thought it was worth it. It just seem to make the car run better - not a massive power hike but I reckon it does what it sez - tries to decoke the engine coz the amount of shite that comes outta the exhaust nearly covered me car

Lmao!!! A m8 of mine put 10k boost in his brand new pug206 after about 200 miles!! Said it added torque and de-coked!!!

Maybe to a 10yr old car but not brand new!!! :D

I'll stick to using a cap full of redex in the bores everynow and then and continue to run it on Optimax - that keeps it nice and clean.

my cars just done 101,000 miles i dont wanna use it in case i blow out all the carbon sealing up the gaps!

this is correct. as i was getting at carbon builds up on old engines and often creates the seal on the head valves. if u blow all this out u could loose compression

I agree.

I used it on my old 1.2 engine - cleaned it for a bit but the head went shortly after. Could be coincidence.

Found the same using redex too!

:x

Just use optimax and get the car tuned to cope with change in the petrol type.

I did a top end rebuild not long ago and decoked the head and valves them cut all the valves in again, that's whay I want to keep it as clean as poss!!!
