first off yerr yerr i know, rattle cans are crap blah blah blah

im on painting something plastic and iv prepped it to **** and expected a good finish in gloss black but as the paint dries it goes a cloudy matt black type of colour... what can i do to prevent this?
im painting in a well ventilated area and iv done this many many times before and had a perfect finish but i cant seem to get it gloss enough

here are some examples of decent finishes iv done with rattle cans in the past

iv de-textured all the orange peal on the plastic, primed it, p240'd, p360'd primed again p500'd and painted as i always did in the past ^
its also the same paint

any suggestions?

tried going over it with 1200 then a polish?

When I get that type of finish it's normally because of moisture/condensation as the paint is drying.

have you made sure the paint is warm before painting, if im using rattle cans ill keep them in the house in a warm cupboard before using them

paint is warm and shook well and painted it outside... iv just tried warming the item up with a hair-dryer and doing it again... looks alrite so far but we'll see when its dry
