my nova gte rep with z20let

it been a year now since i stripped my nova for its rebuild and havnt got far not knowing what engine i wanted and i manged to pick at my local breaker a z20let out of a astra couple that has been on it roof and is smoking. but had a look and inlet and the intercooler was full of oil but going to rebuild anyway

going to be running it on dta mangement atb diff and engine wise it going to be fairly stardard the aim is to make it look clean really tidy
getting the underneath, engine bay, inside and wheel arches glass bead blasted then full respray soon as but going to mock up engine intercooler pipe and rad etc

i was suprised when i got it all mounted and had a look at the space i got to play with
clutch and heater matrix pipe have got loads of room will put up pics tomorrow

what mounts do you use? same as an XE?

yer using xe mount f20 box but the let timing belt tensioner is different to the redtop or xev engine meaning the tensioner and cover is in the way of the mount but getting the engine in have given me a big boost and want to crack on now

Love the sound of this, will be watching your progress. Have been thinking about going down the Z20LET Route aswell so looking forward to see how you get on :thumb:

Ive got the whole thing Sussed, pm me for info if you like, and have a look at my build thread for pics. Many mix n match parts but it will work pretty easy, I have one ;-)
