what size plastiguage would i need for checking my bearing clearances on an xe/let block?

i have digital verniers i can use too

digital verniers are not accurate enough,needs to be a micrometer.red plastigauge should be fine btw

A mic is the tool for the job.An engine shop will measure it for you then advise you on what to do next.

closest engine shop to me is like 60 miles away lol ive just ordered some plastigauge so will see what readins i get from that, if it looks bad ill send them off to be checked

red plastigauge is 1-7thou iirc, when ever i build an engine i like as close to 2thou main and 2.5thou big end, but between 2-3 thou is ok imo.

Cheers for that so between 2-3 and standard bearings are fine
