1.6 into 1.2

I've got a 1.2i nova and want to drop a GTE lump into it. Its just a standard engine so just under 100bhp. Would i need to strengthen the 1.2 shell or will it be ok to drop it straight in?

Should be fine, as they come standard with the 1.6's anyways. Mine was fine, but i suppose if you get chance and time to, then it would be rude not

Shell is pretty good as novas go, i wasnt sure if the GTE/GSi have extra plates welded in when they were made or are the shells exactly the same as all novas?

If you worried about it, i would do it, only reason i didnt on mine is i was pushed for time to chuck it in as mine was a daily at the time.
