What tyre size would suit a 17x7.5" wheel, thin'ish without looking stretched?

I was thinking either 215/40 or 205/40 but can't really find any reliable images online to give an indication :( I mean look at this ffs, both apparently the same size tyre on the same size rim - first pic is that kinda fitment I'm after:

I know there will be some differences between tyres, but thats ridiculous lol

What would that look like? As said, google images is failing me badly and I've not really got any experience of that size tyre. I thought my GT4 wheels were 7.5" wide but they have 225 tyres and look the same as the first pic above. lol
