has anyone on here carried out this on their own car yet, just trying to find out as much info as poss before i do mine. cheers

I think you use an Astra/Cav big block hub flange, Golf Sychro wheel bearing(poss same as an Audi Quattro) and the hub knuckle needs machining to accept the bearing which externally is larger than a Nova item

There's also some machining of the inner race/hub from what I've researched.

early audi 80 front bearing is the same
you need to machine the hub carrier and the flange a bit too otherwise it will sit too far out - its about 2mm iirc

i'll get the part number of the bearing when im at my workshop tomorrow

have a read of that,

Chip copied my idea - i didnt machine my flanges as im running wilwoods with custom brackets so the bit of extra track was welcome

Did you find any more info on this as I'm wanting to fit big black shafts etc to are small block rally car
