F20 Gearing

Hi ,
Anyone know how I can lower the gearing on an F20 box for my Nova Redtop. I am trying to do it as cheaply as poss. Can I put a Quaife CWP in it without changing the gearing if not are there any other boxes I can use with less top end and still close ratio's.

An F16CR is the lowest geared big block gearbox you'll find, geared for about 125mph in 5th, so will be revving it's knackers off on the motorway.

Thanks mate. Do you think an F16 would take a cammed and twin dcoe redtop ?

if you find a box, it will need new bearings & seals as a minimum before using, they are like 25 years old now

F16CR is not geared for 125mph, most CR F16s are C3.55, some are 3.74, same as F20.

There is a C4.19 F18 gearbox, but good luck finding one.
