Rising rate fpr with C16xe

I read somewhere that a rising rate fpr won't work with the c16xe? It was something to do with the air flow meter? Anyone actually tried and tested it?

I would have thought it would have been fine as they work fine on the e16se which obviously also has a afm.

I do believe it will work fine, iirc Craig's turbo c16xe had a rising rate fpr on it
