REAR WIPER AND CENTER CONSOLE?

Just got a yaris wiper n a thoght it wo a str8 swap the the hole in the wiper arm seems too big for the sticking out thing on the boot tht it goes onto.any 1 got any ideas?

anyone know how to take the center console thing out too out of a mark 1 cos it feels like its screwed in center but cant feel anything.

if ne1 could help ad 'preciate it!

the centre consol is held in with to screws both under caps,
Take out the tape cassette holder, pop off both caps, undo the 2 screws and out it comes

http://how2.nova-land.com/ theres a guide on here on how 2 do a ford ka 1 dunno if its the same principle or sum 1 on roy bacer said put the nut on then the wiper arm then another nut sandwichin the wiper arm in. but ive got the same prob mate recon ill have ago this weekend hope this helps

what i did with my wiper arm is drill a small hole in the spindle and a small hole in the wiper ,put a nail through bent up either side..

the nails hidden under the plastic cap...bit of a bodge but works a treat
