E16se 15mpg!!!!

hi all
fitted an E16SE at the weekend and the MPG is stupidly low. when im driving there is a strong smell of petrol. what can i do/replace to stop the over fueling? im using a corsa 1.6 16v fuel pump if thats any help.

Have you checked for fuel leaks?

when finding fuel leaks use a match, just kidding! run the car and check for leaks as said. on my old engine the brazing on the fuel rail started to let fuel come out.

my old 08 ford focus 2.5 turbo ST was 15 mpg on a good day (now sold)
you must have a leak somewhere

if the cts is not working right, it will be rich as anything.
get it to a garage & get them to put it on the diagnostic machine
