I have a favor to ask any C20XE Nova owners, as my car is 90 miles away...
Can someone measure the distance from the inlet port face to the firewall? Trying to work out what is the max size runners I can fit.
Thanks!
Chris

Intake runners and then trumpets.
Basically i want to know the distance from the intake port face on the cylinder head to the firewall. Preferably perpendicular to the port face.
So head to fire wall? I can in a bit...

Benn, thanking you in advance!
It's so frustrating not having a car to hand, just for these little things!!
Just what i can measure being i have a loom and boost pipe in the way its about 250mm (10inch)

Thanks Benn! Shorter than I thought / hoped... Didn't want to cut the bulkhead :(
Leave it and run smaller, they are better for torque iirc?

Slice it out you big girl and run trumpets up to the scuttle, high pressure cold air = win :d

Got the vent on the current bonnet so air isn't a problem, however when I fit the fg bonnet I wont be cutting it, so tempted.
I forgot to remind you about the bearing clearances... :)
You did, I'll PM you my number now just to make sure you still have it etc

You wanna see the lowered bulkhead in pepe: head -> inlet manifold -> roller throttle bodies -> trumpets -> carbon air box -> standoff injectors -> bottom of windscreen ;O

Yes it's been run in now & is tucked away for god knows how long. TBH not even a RWD config could grant that level of induction performance; that's all N/a needs...
Ive got pica of it running and being driven, shame it was never carried on with...
