as above, the 1.7 dti engine, are they easy to change, or shall i pay someone else to do it? any info or pictures would help :)

On mine ( DTI 1.7 DTI izoozoo engine ) you have to remove the engine mount and support the engine, if you have decent knowledge of engines you can just mark up all the timing with tipex and not bother locking the pump etc,

Done mine 3 months ago, bit of a faff, took me and my mate about 3-4 hours due to seized bolts etc

aint even got the old belt of yet, the crank pully bolt will not budge for ****

well after fitting it all together. it dont start, run, or **** all. towed it round the block and it is pouring out blue smoke, major ****ed it i reckon.

there a doddle,sama as the old isuzus,
sounds like you have got the pump a tooth out,
retime your top 2 marks and the pump locks off with a 13mm nut through the pulley,
the cam locks same though a 10mm headed bolt then check the bottom end,it took me 45 minutes when i did my combo

ok, taken it all to pieces AGAIN, every timeing mark lines up, as dose the diesel pump, still dose nothing, engine turns over by hand, and dosnt start on the key, or do **** all! why oh why did i ****ing bother.
