I'm making a loom for the rally car and wondered if I can leave these wires out.

mines never failed when it wasnt working. and im pretty sure my mate who did MOTs said its not a requirement.

Don't think so, but it helps to have one, if reversing at night and it's dark

Thanks guys, i'll leave this out of the new loom, that's 20g saved, thats effectively 0.0005 extra horses, magic!
I would have thought it'd be one of those "if its there it has to work but its not required", but I'm no MOT tester.

Not worth taking out IMO, risking getting shunted for the sake of a few grams
