Throw it in the bin an fit a let lol
Seriously though decent manifold 1.2 head (sounds daft but due to compression chamber shape increases compression) and better fueling I'd go for a pair of twin 40s if you can't get an aftermarket manifold a 1.6 manifold and down pipe will help

What about gear clusters

you could try a close ratio cluster which has a 2.14 second gear

What do they come out of
Look at the end of the gearbox just below the 5th gear housing on a flat vertical surface you'll see some numbers and letters this will tell you what gearing you have. Probably have to clean them off with a wire brush to read them post back on here and i'll tell you what your running

this is probably the best option for you.
you need to know what you have in it already. if its an sr, then theres a 99% chance its still got the 4.1 diff but wide ratio box..
if unsure, then the only way is to take it apart & count some cogs
quickest way to get more acceleration is to fit smaller wheels & low profile tyres.
and after doing all this swapping of ratios, you'll find you will maybe have found 1/2 second from 0-80
get new plugs & decent petrol & you'll probably do the same..

.
This, my 1.3 SR was slower when I fitted 15" wheels after removing the 13's so I used 14" wheels with a low profile. It felt better after that.
