Just bought a Mk3 Astra with an SEH installed.

However, even though there's a lack of a lambda, and it goes like stink, I'm still unsure about the engine management.

Im not all that clued up on 2.0s so please bare with me if this is a daft question but:

Did the SEH ever come with what I believe is a hot wire type AFM rather than flapper type? As mine looks to have one fitted and I believed the SEH was always flapper type?

Most AFMs are hot wire mate as the ecu heats up the wire and the IATS and then measures the temp between the 2 and calcualtes the amount of air coming in. Never heard of a flapper AFM?

Thats the one i refered to as the flapper type (looks like the E16SE one so I assumed it was similar setup) but mine is a hotwire type one a small black block like many other vauxhall engines.
