Save your money and use a hammer and chisel. Its coming out to go in the scrap anyway so doesnt matter!

hammer and a long ratchet extention does the job

i think its more to do with the tensioning up afterwards than the smacking it out..

i just use some plumbers grips.

i would be very suprised if the water pump spanner would get it out lol Usually a hammer n chisel job im afraid!

as mowgli said, its to do the tension on the belt.

would be great dan if you could, the 2 sizes are 41mm and 46mm i think.

Sykes Pickanose make one (made one). Good motorfactors that stock SP stuff should be able to help.
Makes adjusting them a dream compared to any other method.

Still need hammer/chisel to get knackered ones out though!

its 41mm mate
as said above you will need it to tension your new one
to get the old one out you need a big hammer an a lentgh of 3x2 or similar

Just remember to clean up the mating surface really well & then smear some grease round it before putting the new one on

Indeed it was, that took over an hour to get out.
I blasted it to bits with my lump hammer and cold chisel+drilling. Its lucky it didnt wreck the block really.
