I am thing about degreaser my engine bay but don't really want totake the wax oil off but want it to look clean If I do this would I have too clean it everyweek or so to stop rust or will it be ok

get it steam cleaned properly, and once its dry, redo the waxoil

yes you can but its not realy clear more yellowy if that makes sense but applied carfully its a great product

Gunk worked great for me, the foam rather than the spray.

brought my washer bottle and header tank up like new

But so would p1ss if you used enough.
Gunk is trash for cleaning engines and boxes.

I used it on my shell and it dries hard so dust & crap does not stick to it. Get it in the aerosol can.

i have used clear waxoil, i threw it on an engine bay, not for looks but protection.

4 years on it is still sticky and hasn't flaked...pleased.

find a local haulage company & see if they can recommend the nearest MOT steam cleaning bloke, then pay him a few quid to do it properly with his kit. it will leave the engine etc spotless

another vot for this, i buy this in 5 litre cans for about £15 from my local parts place

really good stuff and also good for cleaning engine parts
