Who's got one of these fuel filler set-ups, and can I have some photos of how you've connected it to the tank please?

And where you've run the breather?

Alternatively I'd be interested in seeing any installations where the fuel cap has been put into the rear window.

benn definatly has drop him a message im sure hell be happy to help

but wouldnt it be easyier and less weight doing it through the window like said as it could be shorter and no extra securing work like you would need to to put it in the wing?

Thanks, but I can't face wading through 422 pages of that thread to find it!

Benn has his in the drivers side. This makes more sense as the filler is this side to start with. Just get a small diameter filler and modify the filler tube.

As said drivers is best. As its almost in the same place, I made a hole just under the small breather pipe hole in the inner arch.

Using the Nova metal pipe cut about 2inches up where it straighten out, i used a bit of Corsa tank to filler pipe as it has a nice kink in it, which runs to the filler. I can get pics of that bit.

Im gonna try and get it remade in metal tho, as its to many and to sharp bends for a bit of silicone..

Pics.

Not very pretty or tidy. Breather is now an inch up in its own hole.

Neck in quarter,

Better one, you can see the breather had to be moved, as it hits the card if not.

Neck as a bearing cup welded on the front to space it back so the cap fit flush. ( pics from repaint)

Any more pics/info you want just ask...

I also have a 1meter length of 2" ID feul safe silicone, perfect for a window to tank job, for sale...

It's for the small alloy tank in my hillclimb car, which is mounted on the passenger side (still under the rear seat).

At the moment the filler is in the boot, but I am considering relocating it further forward.
